Edit transfer page overview

The edit transfers page is where users can configure their inventory transfers.

To do this, users should add destinations and products, and set the quantity of each product to be transferred to each destination.

Quantities can be adjusted individually, at a product or warehouse level, or across a whole page.

Users can also set the transfer quantities in relation to current stock levels and reorder points.

Page header

Lets you know what transfer you're currently editing, and contains actions that affect the page as a whole.

"Fulfill transfers" creates goods out notes for the transfers.

"Park" parks the transfer so it can be worked on later.

"More actions" contains the following actions:

  • Add destinations: Allows you to add source warehouses.
  • Refresh minimum stock levels: Pulls the newest minimum stock levels from Brightpearl.
  • Clone transfer: Creates a new transfer with the same products, destinations and quantities as the current transfer.
  • Warehouse priorities: Allows you to prioritize the destination warehouses to make sure the available inventory is sent to the place which most needs it first.
  • Edit reference: Allows you to change the transfer reference.

Product panel

Contains options for adding products to the page, and controls to adjust transfer quantities in bulk.

Search for a product using its barcode, name or SKU.

Use the "Adjust all" buttons to increase or decrease the quantities of all products on the transfer.

"Actions" contains the following actions:

  • Add products: Brings up a modal to search for products using product brand, category, subcategory, vendor and type
  • Match minimum stock level: Changes the product's transfer quantities to copy the product's minimum stock level in each destination warehouse. For example, if there are 2 on hand in the warehouse and the minimum stock level is 5, the transfer quantity is updated to 5.
  • Meet minimum stock level: Changes the product's transfer quantities such that transferring that quantity into the destination warehouse will ensure the product's quantity after the transfer meets its minimum stock level. For example, if there are 2 on hand in the warehouse and the minimum stock level is 5, the transfer quantity is updated to 3.
