Once you have at least one combination of product and destination you can start setting the transfer quantities - in other words, the number of each product that you’d like to transfer from the source warehouse to each destination. You can see the transfer quantities against each destination warehouse panel, in the column ‘To Transfer’. Note that all transfer quantities must be positive integers - you won’t be able to enter negative values and decimal quantities.
There are a number of functions that you can use to quickly change many transfer quantities in one go, at a product or destination level, or across a whole page. This page discusses these functions and how to use them.
Match minimum stock level
Brightpearl lets you set a minimum stock level for each product at each warehouse - these are typically used as reorder points. The Match minimum stock level function will copy this value straight into the transfer quantities field.
The match minimum stock level function can be applied to a product across all destinations, to all products at a single destination, or to everything on the page. You’ll find the function under the Actions menus on the page:
Meet minimum stock level
If a product’s current stock level is lower than the reorder point, the meet minimum stock level function will set the transfer quantity to make up the difference.
The meet minimum stock level function can be applied to a product across all destinations, to all products at a single destination, or to everything on the page. You’ll find the function under the Actions menus.
Copy levels from another destination
It might be the case that you’d like to send the same products and quantities to several destinations. It’s possible to set all the quantities as you’d like them against one destination, and then copy those quantities to another.
- Open the Actions menu against a destination
- Select ‘Copy levels from another destination'
- In the ‘Copy quantities from…’ modal, select the destination you want to copy quantities from
- Click Copy
