WMS does not interact directly with your carriers.
Any carrier integration (such as ShipStation or ShipTheory) will be handled directly from Brightpearl. As soon as a goods out note is printed, picked, packed or shipped in WMS, Brightpearl is updated immediately.
Any integration will be configured in Brightpearl via the relevant carrier app - you cannot change this from within WMS. The only thing you have to do in WMS is make sure you’re using the right templates.
If your carrier integration is set to produce consignments at the pick stage, you’ll get labels within a few seconds of a goods out note being picked in WMS.
Alternatively, you can set your carriers to integrate at the packing stage.
You could also choose to send consignments to the carrier right at the start of the process when documents are printed.
Adding labels to templates
If you’re using ShipTheory for carrier integration, goods out note templates can be designed to have the carrier label on them, rather than requiring separate labels.
See how to add labels to templates on this help article.
