The "Tag customer" and "Remove tag from customer" Automation actions allow you to automatically tag customers based on the sales orders that they place, or to remove existing tags.
Contact tags are used for reporting and marketing. Read more about tags here.
Note: These actions currently support a maximum of 200 tags in the account.
"Tag customer" action
The "Tag customer" action allows you to choose a tag to add to the customer assigned to the qualifying order.
If you're using Brightpearl's Mailchimp integration, then customers tagged with tags mapped to Mailchimp will appear in your mailing lists automatically.
"Remove tag from customer" action
It's also possible to automatically remove the tag from a customer, which simply removes the specified tag from the contact assigned to the qualifying order.
