These Automation actions allow you to automatically tag customers based on the sales orders that they place, or to remove existing tags. Contact tags are used for reporting and marketing. Read more about tags here.
Please note: These actions currently support a maximum of 200 tags in the account.
Tag customer action
Use the conditions to determine which customers the tag should be applied to. For example, it could be based on what they're ordering or where it's being sent.
If you're using Brightpearl's Mailchimp integration, then customers tagged with tags mapped to Mailchimp will appear in your mailing lists automatically.
Remove tag from customer action
It's also possible to automatically remove the tag from a customer, which simply carries out the opposite action to the one described above.
