Sales channels integrations and orders

Can I use the loyalty and gift card functionality when adding an order in the back office?

No. Currently, the loyalty and gift card functionality can only be used with the POS app.

Which transactions are in scope of this project?

The scope of this integration includes POS, BigCommerce and Magento transactions.

Which orders are sent to Voucherify from each channel?

  • POS and BigCommerce: all
  • Magento: orders with a promotional code

Which features are supported by the sales channels integrations?

  • BigCommerce and Magento: gift cards, promo codes
  • BigCommerce only: earn points with all eligible orders
  • Magento only: earn points with all eligible orders where a promo code has been used

How are products synced from the sales channels integrations?

  • BigCommerce: products are automatically synced when created in BigCommerce
  • Magento: products are synced only when a change is made or order is downloaded

Loyalty programs

How can a customer enroll into a loyalty program?

Customers can enroll into loyalty programs via POS in store.

Does a customer earn points from POS and online sales after enrolling?

Yes, automatically.

Can a customer earn points without enrolling using POS?

Yes, if the merchant enrolls them manually in Voucherify.

How can I set up customers to earn points both from POS and online channels?

By including the products included in the earning rules in both versions (one with the online channel’s ID and one with the POS ID). Learn more about setting up the connection to Voucherify here.

Can I configure the functionality to have the points awarded be proportional to the amount spent?

Yes that's one of the ways you can configure an earning rule.

Can I import existing loyalty programs and gift cards to my Voucherify account?

It is possible to import existing loyalty and gift cards (text IDs into loyalty campaign), but without the loyalty points or gift card balance on the cards.

What does the voucher object represent in Voucherify?

The voucher object represents both the gift card and loyalty card in terms of the money that can be spent.

Do I need to create a customer in Voucherify in order to enroll them into a loyalty program?

No, you don't need to create a customer in Voucherify to enroll them into a loyalty program.

Can I transfer points from a loyalty card to another?

Yes, you can close one card and transfer its points to another card linked to the same customer. Learn more about merging cards here.

Gift cards

Can a gift card be used anonymously by a consumer?

Yes. Gift cards do not need to be associated with a customer account in order to be used as payment.

Do gift cards need to be stock tracked products in Brightpearl?

They can be, but don't have to be. You may wish to track stock of them if you sell physical gift cards and need to know when to reorder them.

How can I get a Voucherify test account?

Where do I set up the loyalty programs and gift cards?

Everything is set up in your Voucherify account.

You can create campaigns in Voucherify, where they define the earning rules. Once the campaigns are set up, you can assign your customers to loyalty programs and issue gift cards. Learn more here.

How can a customer access their loyalty and gift cards balances?

You can configure Voucherify to email the customers automatically once they're signed up to a campaign. They will get an email with a link to the "Cockpit", where they can log in to check their transactions and balances.
