The assortment report can be used to see sales trends and performance metrics within groupings such as category, vendor, brand, etc.
It can be accessed under Reports > Assortment.
For example, the report can be used to see how one vendor performs across all categories, by choosing Categories at the top of the page to see all categories, clicking Filter > Vendor and selecting the vendor name, then applying the filter to see the results.
The metrics are:

Sell Through |
The percentage of inventory sold in a given period compared to the inventory received. |

The number of units of inventory. |
Total Stock % | The percentage these units of inventory makes up of total inventory. |
Stock Cost | The total cost value of the stock. |
Stock Retail | The total retail value of the stock. |
On Order |
The number of units on purchase orders which have not yet been received. |

The total cost value of the on order units. |
