Assortment

The assortment report can be used to see sales trends and performance metrics within groupings such as category, vendor, brand, etc.

It can be accessed under Reports > Assortment.

For example, the report can be used to see how one vendor performs across all categories, by choosing Categories at the top of the page to see all categories, clicking Filter > Vendor and selecting the vendor name, then applying the filter to see the results.

The metrics are:

Metric Description
Sales The number of sales made during the year.
Total Sales % The percentage these sales make up of total sales.
[Attribute] Sales % The percentage these sales make up of sales for the attribute.
Revenue The revenue received from the sales made during the year
Total Revenue % The percentage this revenue makes up of total revenue.
[Attribute] Revenue % The percentage this revenue makes up of revenue for the attribute.
GMROI

Gross margin return on investment.
(GRMOI = profit÷ average stock cost)

AVG Stock Cost Average cost of the stock in the period.
(AVG stock cost = sum of stock cost of inventory during the select time period ÷ number of days in the selected period)
Profit The profit made from the sales made during the year.
(Profit = Revenue - COGS)
Total profit % The percentage this profit makes up of total profit.
Sell Through

The percentage of inventory sold in a given period compared to the inventory received.
(Sell through = sales for the selected period ÷ (current stock + sales))

Stock

The number of units of inventory.

Total Stock % The percentage these units of inventory makes up of total inventory.
Stock Cost The total cost value of the stock.
Stock Retail The total retail value of the stock.
On Order

The number of units on purchase orders which have not yet been received.

On Order Cost

The total cost value of the on order units.

On Order Retail The total retail value of the on order units.
