Stock, sales and commitment

The stock, sales & commitment report is a report listing your historic sales and stock cover. It can help with planning, replenishment and identifying what products are overstocked.

It can be found under Reports > Stock, Sales & Commitment.

The report can be filtered to a specific warehouse and can be filtered for specific products, brands, categories etc.

The metrics are:

Metric Description
Sales The number of sales made during the year.
Sales % The percentage these sales make up of total sales.
Revenue The revenue received from the sales made during the year
Revenue % The percentage this revenue makes up of total revenue.
Profit The profit made from the sales made during the year.
(Profit = Revenue - COGS)
Margin The profit as a percentage of the revenue.
AVG ROS

Average return on sales.
(AVG ROS = Profit ÷ units sold)

In stock

The number of units currently in stock.

AVG cover in months

How many times over the current level of stock can cover the current rate of sales (per month).
(AVG cover = number of units in stock ÷ average monthly sales)

On order

The number of units on purchase orders which have not yet been received.

AVG PO cover in months

How many times over the number of units on order can cover the current rate of sales (per month).
(AVG PO cover = number of units on order ÷ average monthly sales)

On order overdue

How many on order units are overdue.
