There are three levels of user in WMS.
Can perform goods out, deliveries, and stock taking tasks, but cannot approve spot checks or cycle counts.
- Team lead
As above, but also has the ability to fulfill orders and manage preferences. Cannot approve spot checks or cycle counts.
Has access to everything, including exporting and deleting. A manager must approve any changes to inventory levels (spot checks, cycle counts).
Add team members to WMS from the Brightpearl back office.
Note: WMS is sometimes referred to as Warewolf in Brightpearl.
- Add a new Brightpearl staff member at Settings > Staff/users > List staff .
- Check to activate the Warewolf section
If you just want to give someone access to WMS, they will still need an email address. You can temporarily tick the "back office" section to type in an email address, and then untick before saving.
- Set their WMS role.
- Click Save.
- Go to App store > Installed apps > Warewolf > Configure > Manage users and add your new user to the app.
Note: The pin number is not required for WMS access, and the warehouse setting does not affect the user’s access or permissions within WMS.
Warning: You won’t be able to assign anything to someone in WMS until after they have logged in for the first time.
