BOPIS app installation

To enable BOPIS (Buy Online Pickup In Store), you’ll need the following installed:

  • BigCommerce connector
    This is used to download orders from BigCommerce into Brightpearl.
  • A private app in Brightpearl
    This is used to provide the BigCommerce extension with API details to access Brightpearl.
  • Brightpearl (BOPIS) BigCommerce extension
    A BigCommerce app which modifies your store and communicates with Brightpearl.

Adding a private app to Brightpearl

Go to your Brightpearl account and visit App Store > Private apps > Add private app.


Choose System app.
Give a name for your private app (for example, BOPIS). 
Enter identifier following this format: "{BrightpearlAccountName}_bopis". 
Click install. You will see a new line for the private app.
Pay attention to the "Reference" and "Token" fields, you'll need these for the BigCommerce extension shortly.

Install the BOPIS app for your BigCommerce account

  1. Navigate to the BigCommerce Apps > Marketplace and search for the word "Brightpearl" or "BOPIS" to locate the Brightpearl Buy Online Pickup In Store app. Click Get this App ->  Install to install.


2. Confirm the installation. Accept the terms and conditions.


3. You will see a message prompting to check your email address.


4. Follow the link sent in the email and reset your password. After this is done go back and enter your credentials.

5. The app will require more information to authorize your Brightpearl account. Use the information from the private app you created earlier. 


  • Account name - You will need to fill out your Brightpearl account name.
  • Developer reference - is the reference available after you create a private app.
  • App token - is a long alphanumeric string that will be generated after you create a private app.
  • Data center - to find the correct data center you need to login to your Brightpearl account and check URI syntax.
