Coupons

When sales are downloaded from an ecommerce channel, the price shown on the order is the price that the customer paid. There is no automated comparison with price lists kept in Brightpearl to display discounts.

When a customer pays less than full price on the channel due to a coupon or voucher, the downloaded order will show an extra order line with the coupon information:

Depending on the sales channel, the extra line will either be a negative value to reduce the order total value, or the prices will have already been modified at a line level and the coupon line is just for reference (as in the screenshot above).

Reporting on usage of a coupon

The coupon line on the sales order will show the name of the coupon. Use the 'search in orders' feature to find all orders which contain this text in the line item:
