Once you have signed up for the connector, your Brightpearl Consultant will provide login credentials to the Brightpearl-to-Bill.com web application. From within this web app, you can specify which accounts are being connected, configure field mapping between the systems and view synced data and integration logs. Your Brightpearl Consultant will work with you to configure these settings. It is highly recommended to involve your accountant or bookkeeper.
Once logged in to the web app, all settings can be accessed via the left-hand menu.

Mapping
Mapping allows you to configure how data from Brightpearl translates to data in Bill.com and vice versa. Mapping can be accessed via the left-hand menu of the web app.
Payment mapping
Here you can map payment methods from Brightpearl to their corresponding Bill.com bank account(s). If you haven't set up your payment methods in Brightpearl yet, you can do this in the backoffice at Settings > Company > Payment methods. Read more about setting up payment methods here.
The default payment method from the settings discussed above will be used if any banks haven't been mapped, so remember to map any new bank accounts that are added to Bill.com in the future!
Nominal code mapping
Here you can map nominal codes from your Chart of Accounts in Brightpearl to their corresponding Bill.com nominal code. Codes can be added in Brightpearl's backoffice at Accounting > Chart of accounts. Read more about the Chart of Accounts here.
Please make sure that you have mapped all active nominal codes that may be used on purchase orders, and remember to add new mappings to the connector should you add new nominal codes in the future! An example of the nominal code mapping is shown below:
