A single Magento account can have multiple websites, stores and store views, learn more about this on the Magento Knowledge Base.
The current Brightpearl app is able to manage a Magento account at a global level only. Controls at a website, store or view level can be managed directly within Magento.
Brightpearl now have a new Magento app in beta which has multi-website, store and store view functionality. If you are interested in the new Brightpearl Magento app please contact email@example.com.
Connecting Magento with GWS
The setup process is completed per Magento account, and does not include any additional steps when using GWS. A single Magento account becomes a single sales channel in Brightpearl, this also means only a single channel brand can be assigned.
It is important to remember that Brightpearl will be the master system and will need to hold details of all products used across all websites.
Tips for Magento Multi-store & Brightpearl
When integrating multi-store within a single Magento account, all sales pull through to a single Magento sales channel in Brightpearl. To be able to distinguish the orders between different stores, it is recommended to setup different order reference numbers on each Magento store. For example:
Reporting is on a per channel basis, so each of your orders will be grouped into one report. However, reporting can be made easier if you distinguish your order references between each store.
