You can integrate multiple ekmPowershop accounts with a single Brightpearl account in order to manage inventory and orders in one central location.
Each separate ekmPowershop account which you use is integrated with Brightpearl as a separate sales channel, allowing you to set controls per store, as well as report on the sales separately.
Handling products & inventory levels - the importance of SKUs
Brightpearl will become your "master product list" handling all your inventory levels for all integrated ekmPowershop accounts. You may have products which are listed on one ekmPowershop account and not the other, or items which appear on both, but all of those products will need to be imported to Brightpearl so that they have a single product record on your "master list".
It is important to ensure that every product has a unique SKU and that same SKU is applied across all your accounts. All Brightpearl integrations rely heavily on matching products by SKU for inventory level syncing and allocating items to downloaded orders.
Handling B2B & B2C
Having two completely separate ekmPowershop accounts is a great way to simplify handling both B2B and B2C sales. Being able to integrate both your accounts means you can handle all your products, purchases and sales in one place but still report on your sales separately.
Using multiple trading names & brands
ekmPowershop does not support multiple views for different branding or trading names, so in this scenario you would need entirely separate ekmPowershop accounts. A single Brightpearl account, however, can handle multiple brands and company aliases.
Against each sales channel (one per store) you can specify which channel brand should be used. This means that company details, logos and even templates will automatically be applied to those orders without having to change any processes.
