Transitioning to our new Shopify app

We have almost finished building and beta testing our brand new Shopify app.

It has been designed to support high levels of transactions e.g. orders, inventory updates, fulfilments etc. It also allows for a modular app giving you the option to only install and configure segments of the full app.

The new app settings are now embedded into your Shopify store and provide a more usable experience. It is configured directly from within Shopify

Note: The new app takes the place of the old app and should be a complete replacement. Please do not run both concurrently

Upgrading is as simple as removing the old app from your Shopify app store, installing the new one and configuring it to suit your workflows.

NB orders placed in the older app will not get updated after the upgrade. So if you have any orders that have downloaded into Brightpearl using the older app but you haven't marked as shipped yet in Brightpearl you will need to process them manually on your Shopify store after the upgrade. This will only affect those orders that have not yet been fully shipped and completed at the point of transitioning. Any orders placed after the upgrade will be unaffected.
